COLD and wet conditions kept riders away from VC Sevale’s time trial, with only eight taking on the tough 10-mile Chance Lane course.
Guest Martin Lines, from Worcester St John’s, came in first place with a time of 24 minutes seven seconds.
Sevale’s William Davies was second fastest on the night with 24.37, ahead of club-mate Ben Davies in third with 26.18.
The competition for the Road Bike Award was hotly contested with Mike Collins taking maximum points.
Collins clocked 28.15 for fourth place, ahead of M Peakman (29.35), S Price (30.03), T Knight (30.22) and C Turner (37.50).
Sevale race next Thursday on the Severn Stoke course with signing-on from 6.30pm.
