Carp success for Harris
A SINGLE carp of 9lb 9oz on pole-fished bread gave veteran Dave Harris the second round of Malvern Anglers’ Spring Cup on Eastfields Fishery in Kempsey.
Graham Rees was second with silvers and carp to 7-10 on meat ahead of Chris Loveridge (7-5), Frank Edwards (6-4) and Dick Oakley (3-1).
The annual meeting and prize giving is at Newtown Club on Thursday at 7.30pm.
