TERRY Jenkins made a disappointing early exit at the German Championship, losing in the second round in Hildesheim.
The Ledbury thrower was beaten 6-3 by world number six James ‘The Machine’ Wade, having previously recorded the first round’s only whitewash in sweeping aside Dutch youngster Ryan De Vreede.
Jenkins, known as The Bull, landed six doubles from 11 attempts and averaged 102.48, the highest of the round, during the 51-year-old’s 6-0 victory.
The Netherlands’ Michael van Gerwen won the event in the Lower Saxony region, beating world champion Gary Anderson 6-2 in the final.
