THE David Dennis-trained Angus Glens romped to victory in Wolverhampton’s Bet In Play At Coral Handicap.

Under jockey Martin Lane, the four-year-old 7-2 favourite won by five lengths.

Hanley Swan’s Dennis said: “We were really pleased Angus Glens gave such a good race. Initially a quirky runner, he’s been quite consistent in the last few months, resulting in him climbing steadily up the handicap.

“We hope to enter him on Boxing Day again at Wolverhampton.

“We have several runners on Boxing Day and the yard are hoping for some good results.”
