CHRIS Loveridge won a Malvern United contest on the River Severn at Holdfast.
With the weather mild, but rainy, conditions were good for the time of year, producing the best match weights of the season for the venue.
From the first peg with a variety of baits, Loveridge caught 24lb 0oz of bream, including a specimen of 6-5.
On the last peg, the second-placed Ian Goddard also had a net of bream for 16-2.
Third was Dave Wilkes with 13-1, while Graham Rees caught 3-8 and John Shaw 2-4.
