CSSC Ramblers won again in Paperstation Malvern Table Tennis League Division One with a 6-4 triumph over Ledbury Collection.

Chris Hewitt maintained his 100 per cent record, supported by Alan Salisbury with two wins.

Hewitt and Graham Thompson won the crucial doubles against Nigel Foreshew and Patryk Kovacz.

In reply, Foreshew claimed two singles for Collection with Kovacz and Harry Jutle contributing one each.

YMCA Pterodactyls were held 5-5 by promoted Manor Park Travellers thanks to a superb display by Craig Preece, who won all of his matches.

Wayne Chopping and Dave White bagged two each for Pterodactyls and also combined to take the doubles.

But Toby Wren and Martin Snee earned vital victories to earn the draw for Travellers.

Manor Park Express defeated Manor Park Pumas 6-4 in a close match when five games went to five sets.

There were two successes for Dave Woodyatt and Pete Griffiths and one for Ray Page.

Woodyatt and Griffiths also took the key doubles against Geoff Woodward and Jon Dyke.

Woodward and Dave Hallam won two games each for Pumas.

Crackpots ‘E’ continued their fine start to the Division Two season with a 10-0 thrashing of Scuttling Gang.

It was thanks to maximums from Matt Hodges, Colin Dolding and Dave Steen. Manor Park Wanderers responded to their opening defeat against Scuttling Gang with a 6-4 victory over Malvern Tornados.

A maximum from Stan Mason was supported by Dave Bradley and Charlie Burford with one win each.

Ethan Webb and Ben Meredith continued to show their progress at the higher level with two wins each for Tornados.

Poolbrook Dynamos defeated YMCA Vulcans 7-3 with maximums from Geoff Burford and John Phillips supported by Tom James.

Richard Bennett and newcomer Paul Egerton replied with single wins for Vulcans.

Bennett and Simon Harrison also won a tight five-set doubles against Burford and James.

X Police earned their second Division Three victory with an 8-2 win over Poolbrook Panthers thanks to another maximum for Steve Mulka.

He was supported by Alan Holmes and Alan Preece with two wins each, while Collette James replied with two singles victories.

Abbeydowne defeated Poolbrook Rangers 7-3 thanks to a maximum from Chris Burrows, supported by Niels Errikson (2) and Len Hitchman.

Nick Haggar (2) and Rob Weston hit back for Rangers.

Manor Park Devils continued their fine start to the season with a 9-1 victory over Poolbrook Juniors.

Trebles from Liz Hallam and Paul Lythgoe were backed by Denis Chetwood’s double and James Glazzard replied for Juniors.

Manor Park Crackpots won their first match of the season with a narrow 6-4 triumph over Crackpots ‘B’.

Stephen Lindner again won three with support from Ed Palmer (2).

Alan Eldridge (2), Alan Forsdyke and Ted Cates replied for Crackpots ‘B’.

Lindner and Palmer won the crucial doubles against Eldridge and Forsdyke.
