MALVERN Joggers’ runner Julie Caseley continued her preparation for next month’s Munich marathon closer to home.
She won the women’s over 55s age category at the half-marathon held from Wolverhampton’s West Park.
The course was varied and twisty but well organised with various water stations.
All finishers received a medal, T-shirt and goody bag with Caseley also collecting a Bourne Sports voucher after a time of one hour, 48 minutes and seven seconds.
Joggers also tackled the Great North Run with Andrew Brown clocking 2.11.03, Arthur Lockyear 2.23.08 and David Thorpe 2.45.16.
The Cheltenham half-marathon saw Malvern’s Bill Adsett run 1.38.40, Claudia Wilesmith 1.43.18, Marc Bingham 1.45.05 and Ian Walwyn 1.52.49.
Three joggers chose the Chippenham half-marathon with Daniel Badger doing 1.38.30, Mark Cooling 2.00.00 and David Brett 2.17.33.
