Meanwhile, Joggers’ Annie Robson will hit a running milestone tomorrow by completing her 100th parkrun at Worcester Country Woods.

The event is held every Saturday morning at 9am and attended by hundreds of runners on a weekly basis.

It started in June, 2011, and Robson has been attending regularly since then, only taking a few months off last year when pregnant.

She said: “I ran for as long as I could but, when I got to six months pregnant and it started taking me more than 40 minutes to complete the course, I stopped running and started volunteering at the weekly event.

“Now I run it with my daughter in the buggy, it is a real family event. I look forward to doing my next 100 parkruns.”

n Judge put in a superb display to finish first woman at the Credenhill Canter in Herefordshire.

She was fifth overall in 46 minutes 37 seconds over the 10-kilometre multi-terrain afternoon race and also won under 30s women’s prize.

Credenhill Sports and Social Club organised and hosted the start of the event, which finished by St Mary Church.

Seventy-seven runners tackled woodland trails and country lanes with a challenging hilly second half through Credenhill Park Wood and £1000 was raised for the Hereford Special Care Baby Unit.
