A HANDFUL of Malvern Joggers took part in the popular Tewkesbury half-marathon and 10-kilometre race.

Dave Green clocked one hour 38 minutes 19 seconds in the half-marathon alongside efforts from Jayne Ackroyd (1.49.39), Colin Rowley (1.57.02), Mark Cooling (1.59.26) and Helen Hay (2.08.49).

Opting for the 10k paid off for Chris Barker, who ran a time of 55.49 to bag second place in his age category.

A race that always attracts a number of Joggers took place in Hereford.

Organised by Burghill Community Primary School, the Crocodile 8 is a challenging eight-mile, multi-terrain race through orchards, woodland trails and country lanes.

Joggers put in good displays, most notably by top-10 finisher Jon Newey and Kareen Mann, who won her age category.
