Sixth formers are going strong Sixth formers are going strong

DYSON Perrins Academy’s sixth form elite team are looking forward to a strong second-half of the season after a stunning start.

They continued an eyecatching campaign with a 7- 2 thrashing of Worcester Sixth Form College.

Having trailed 2-1 early in the second-half, the Malvern students showed plenty of character to bounce back as Ryan Perks led the way with a hat-trick.

Adam Lowe, Jamie Smith, Adam Page and Stephane N’Zi were also among the scorers.

The team are second in their regional colleges league, having won three and drawn one, conceding only two goals and racking up 11-0 and 10-0 victories.

The emphasis has been on commitment and team cohesion with all players also having to take care over their diets and presentation.

Changes have included 8am starts on Mondays and Wednesdays along with extra free period study sessions and football leadership opportunities.

Worcestershire FA Schools have called up Lowe, Bradley Heron, Sam Rathbone and Smith to their representative squad.

Dyson Perrins have been able to form ‘B’ and ‘C’ teams with their squad of 35 players who include newcomers to the competitive game.
