Seven up for Wanderers

Wanderers hosted Kinver Colts, they went into this match thinking it would be a tough game but it wasn't long before Wanderers' Emily Burton netted the first goal. Kinver went on the attack and equalised.

Tnen a great run from Lauren Williams found the ball going into the back of Kinver's net. With half-time approaching, Kinver were awarded a corner, the cross came in and a mix-up in the Wanderers defence let Kinver level the score at half-time, 2-2.

Wanderers attacked Kinver's defence in the second-half and Lauren Williams neatly added another goal. Kinver had many chances but the good defending from Wanderers kept them away. The pressure was on and more goals went flooding in by Abi Laker, Emily Burton and Lauren Williams.6-2 Kinver pulled one back, then Wanderers were given a penalty - Emma Evans took it but scraped the crossbar. With minutes to go Emma Evans crossed the ball in from a corner, it found Lauren Williams, who again placed it in the net, giving her four goals.

Full time: 7-3 Well done to Kinver for a good battle of girl's football.
