THERE was a shock result in the second round of the Worcester Sunday Nursing Junior Cup where FC Malvern won 2-1 at highly-fancied Upton Snodsbury.

Ryan Shemwell scored both goals for Malvern who have now won their last three games after a poor start to the season.

Also through to the quarter-finals are Callow End with Nick MacPherson and Matt Andrews on target in a narrow 2-1 win over Northside.

In the Minor Cup, FC Korono thrashed Spa Athletic 10-0 as Ed Jukes netted five times with doubles from Brad Smith and Lukas Eilberg.

Other doubles came from Steve Pitt of Eaton, who beat Arrow Valley 5-3, and Adam Ellis as Droitwich Spa Eagles won 3-0 at Chaddesley Corbett Ravens.

McDonald’s Worcester and District League Sunday Premier Division leaders Hallow had a 3-2 home win against The Gloster Arms with Zaq Hussain scoring twice.

Prince of Wales go marching on at the top of Division One with Dan Parsons hitting a hat-trick as they crushed AFC Claines 5-0.

Fernhill Heath Athletic beat Hallow Village 5-3 with Luke Molloy bagging two.

A brace from Greg Lord gave The Bell a 2-1 victory against St Johns.

In Division Two, there were two goals each for Luke Hill in Star and Garter's 4-1 success at Kempsey Colts United and Brad Hunt of St Johns Colts who lost 3-2 at home to Northwick Saints.

Malvern Vale won 4-1 at Pershore Town Eagles with Oscar Hooper, Curtis Williams, Ali Turner and Ryan Perks their scorers.

Masons went on a goal rampage in Division Three, winning 12-1 against Powick with Josh Bowen and Andrew Dashfield both cracking hat-tricks.

There was a brace each for Owen Lane and Rio Janic of Perdiswell Colts who beat Freemasons Arms 5-2.

Strikes from Josh Beckett and Brad Morton gave leaders Express Falcons a 2-0 victory at GDL Athletic.

Thirty-two goals were scored in the four Division Four matches played.

Leading the way were current leaders Spa Rovers who hammered New Inn Sports Malvern 15-0.

Connor Grant netted six times and Jack Wetherby notched a treble with doubles coming from Adam Vickers and Steve Owens.

Ryan Scullion was another hat-trick man as Malvern Radar Youth defeated Eaton Reserves 4-1.

Grosvenor Sports had a 5-2 home win against Worcester Saints with goals from Lee Collins (2), Garry Fisher, Josh Farnsworth and Darren Palmer.
