HEREFORD FC are to to third place in Evo-Stik South after a fine second half performance saw them beat Dorchester Town 4-1 at Edgar Street.

A very abject first half display saw the Bulls go into the break 1-0 down after captain Jimmy Oates headed the ball into his own net in the 10th minute.

But Pete Beadle's team were a totally different side in the second half and ran out comfortable winners.

Lance Smith equalised in the 57th minute after his deflected shot looped over the head of former Hereford United goalkeeper Chris Weale.

And seven minutes later the Bulls were ahead when John Mills converted a penalty he won.

Goal number three duly arrived in the 68th minute thanks to an excellent run and finish from Keyon Reffell, with Mills wrapping up the win with a trademark chop and finish 14 minutes from time.

Hereford are still four points adrift of leaders Kettering Town, who beat Merthyr Town 5-0 today, but have now leapfrogged King's Lynn Town.
