WELLINGTON claimed an excellent 1-1 draw against Hereford in a pre-season friendly this afternoon.
Josh capitalised on a goalkeeping mistake from Oliver Davies to put Gary Stevens' side ahead in the 13th minute before Pablo Haysham converted James Bowen's cross for Hereford 18 minutes from time.
Hereford had the majority of possession and a host of chances, but Wellington – who play their trade in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division – will be delighted with the result which will no doubt be remembered for a long time.
