GOALKEEPER Alex Harris has left Hereford FC to join Gloucester City.
The former Cinderford Town stopper received the offer to join the National League South club due to their regular keeper leaving following Gloucester's switch from North to South.
Hereford manager Pete Beadle said Gloucester manager Tim Harris rung him today to ask to speak to Harris.
"Alex spoke to them and was keen to test himself at the highest possible level," said Beadle.
“I’m disappointed to lose him but I wish him all the best.”
Hereford are now left with two keepers - Martin Horsell and Max Harris.
- Meanwhile, Hereford have confirmed that their final pre-season game will be a hom encounter against Northern Premier League side Stourbridge on Saturday, August 5.
