NEW Hereford FC signing Adam Davies said he could not turn down the opportunity to sign for the Bulls.

The full-back arrived last month from Merthyr Town, where he was player-of-the-year last season.

"It's a massive club and a big opportunity for me, one I couldn't turn down," said Davies.

"There's a massive fan base here and with fans like these, it's hard to turn it down."

Davies can play on either flank and said he hasn't got a favoured position.

"As long as I'm playing, I don't mind where I play," he said.

"It's a difficult league and it's not going to be easy, but this is a very good team and I think we've got a very good chance."
