WESTFIELDS may have lost striker Jamie Molyneux to Hereford FC but they are hopeful of signing adding to their squad by tomorrow.
Manager Sean Edwards has confirmed he has spoken to Bishops Cleeves midfielder Ben Hayes and is awaiting a decision from the former Malvern Town player.
"If Ben Hayes wants to come to Westfields, then it will be a great addition to the squad," said Edwards.
"We lost James Baldwin, who is a similar player to Ben Hayes, and with a lot of midweek games now coming up and Sirdic Grant and the Hartpury boys not always being available, it made sense to add to the squad.
"We've put the seven days in and I watched him a number of times last year for Malvern.
"But he's Bishop Cleeve's player and if he decides to stay there, we will look somewhere else."
As first reported by the Hereford Times, Hereford and Solihull Moors both put in a seven-day approach for Molyneux.
The Bulls have confirmed this evening that the former Redditch United player has signed for them.
