MALVERN Town have targeted winning their last three games to ensure they finish no lower than their current position of sixth in the West Midlands Football League Premier Division.

Les Jones’ side, who defeated fifth-placed Shawbury United 3-1 last weekend, are determined not to be caught by the teams below them, who have four games in hand.

Town visit Wolverhampton Sporting Community tomorrow (3pm) before matches against Pegasus Juniors on Saturday, April 18, and Gornal Athletic on Saturday, May 2.

Manager Jones said: “We have got to try to win all three to be in the top six. Theoretically, teams can overtake us, but if we win all three games we could overtake Shawbury because we have beaten them.

“Tomorrow is a difficult game away from home, but our target is to finish in the top five or six so we have got to get a result and that’s the challenge for the lads.”

Central midfielder Dane Aldington is set to make his debut after joining from Littleton.

Malvern’s Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup final with Bewdley Town will be played at the HDanywhere Community Stadium on Saturday, May 9.
