THERE was an impressive result for WCT Youth Raiders in the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup, winning 4-3 at higher-graded The Gloster Arms.

Steve Jeffries scored twice with Paul Smith and Matt Andrews also on the scoresheet for Raiders in the clash between two McDonald’s Worcester and District League clubs.

Perrywood Reserves breezed into the quarter-finals with an 8-1 demolition of Station.

The University of Worcester ‘A’ recorded their first win of the season in the Premier Division, 4-1 at Droitwich Spa Eagles where Sam Gibbon bagged two for the students.

Ryan Ince scored twice for Colwall St James, who won their local derby with Colwall Village 3-2.

Riverside have opened up a four point lead at the top of Division Four after goals from Cristian Raileanu and Edgar Sanha gave them a 2-1 victory at DM Upton.

Connor Wise netted twice for Hallow Reserves, who beat The Bell at Pensax Reserves 6-3. Old Vigornians won 5-2 against Worcester Rileys with Nick Burtoft smashing a hat-trick.

Shane Smith netted twice for Rileys before later being sent off.

In Division Five, Joe Morrall fired a treble and Phil Marsh a double as St Peters crushed Westside 8-3.

Pillar of Salt won by the same scoreline against Sport Dysons.

Adie Crowther grabbed a hat-trick and there was a brace for Drew Dashfield, while Kieron Smith scored twice for Dysons.
