MALVERN Town host Cradley Town tomorrow (3pm) hoping to improve on last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Shifnal Town at the Langland Stadium.

Les Jones’ 14th-placed side recorded their first goalless draw of the West Midlands League Premier Division season against their visitors from three positions below.

In the first minute, Lee Hooper tried to scoop the ball over keeper Vitor Pinheiro but it went over the bar.

Lewis Platt drove off target from 25 yards and Louis Loader’s cross-shot was tipped over.

Hooper fired wide in the second-half and Sam Daffin was denied a goal after the assistant referee raised his flag.

Malvern keeper Charles Weaver dealt with any danger at the other end and the closest the visitors came was when Tom Worthington shot over five minutes from time.

In the final minute, Malvern’s Matthew Turner fired wide.

Third-from-bottom Bromyard Town lost 3-0 to Wolverhampton Sporting Community and visit Wellington Amateurs tomorrow (3pm) before hosting Pegasus Juniors next Tuesday (7.45pm).

Malvern Rangers entertain Ludlow in Division Two tomorrow (3pm).
