On-fire Newent in huge triumph

NEWENT thrashed bottom-of-the-table Kings Stanley in Gloucestershire Cricket League Division Two by 130 runs.
They amassed 282-5 from 40 overs with Edward Lifely (68), Nathan Bell (61) and Morgan Evans (50) starring before restricting their visitors to just 152-5.
But Redmarley are in the Division One bottom two after losing by seven wickets at home to Oldlands, who passed their 176 all out.
