WORCESTERSHIRE Cricket League Division One leaders Worcester Nomads stayed out in front with another efficient bowling and fielding performance at home to third-placed Hagley.

Innocent Kaia scored 60 and Ben Schiffmann took 4-23 as Nomads skittled their visitors for 123 in an eight-wicket success.

Wood had a big win at home to Bromyard, scoring 413-8 thanks to Mike Langford’s 134 and Carl Whyte’s 121 and then dismissing their visitors for 168.

Previous contenders Feckenham lost at home to Lye and Enville squeezed past Bredon by four runs in an adjusted target match.

Alvechurch and Hopwood celebrated their first win of the season against Worcester Dominies but remained rooted to the foot of the table.

Division Four leaders Martley and Five Ways Old Edwardians both lost to teams closing in from behind them in Astwood Bank and Stourport respectively.
