HANLEY Swan kept up the pressure on the Cheltenham League Division Three leaders with a 5-2 victory at Cheltenham Civil Service Reserves.
The woodwork denied the visitors before James Beale put them ahead with a bullet header from Richard Foley’s cross.
Cheltenham produced a disputed equaliser and went ahead through a quick break with keeper Nick Rogers keeping Hanley in the game.
But Beale made no mistake to level from Simon Griffiths’ through-ball and they went ahead in the second period after the best passing move of the game was finished off by Andy Rogers.
Foley and Rogers completed the scoring for Hanley, who host Moreton Rangers Reserves today at 3pm.
