WELLAND triumphed 4-1 at Leckhampton Rovers in a midtable Cheltenham League Division Five clash.

After two weeks without a game, the visitors dominated the opening 25 minutes with Ben Pearson and Mark Taylor hitting the woodwork.

The breakthrough came on 35 minutes when Rob Kelly’s long pass was lashed home by James Lush from just inside the box.

Welland keeper Niall Hacking was forced into two good saves but the hosts levelled with a low drive on 55 minutes.

However, Welland regained the lead 10 minutes later through Mark Holbrow who added a quick second before Lewis Dixon wrapped up the scoring.
