MALVERN Town Wanderers overcame a strong Pershore Town Rovers side 2-0 in Ambassador Evesham League Under 12s Pool ‘B’.

They conquered blustery conditions with Elliot Street finishing off Adam Rushton’s pass and Jake Norris stroking home the second goal from the edge of the box.

Wanderers, with games in hand on their rivals, are eyeing a top four spot and defended resolutely with Ethan Coyle, Sam Meakin and Adam Buckley outstanding.

􀁧 Malvern Town Wanderers Colts lost 7-1 to Meadow Park in Mercian Festival Junior League Under 12s Division Two.

Despite tireless prompting from captain Jordan Roan, who scored the opening goal from Tim Marsh’s cross, Malvern lost the game by half-time when they were 4-1 down.

􀁧 Leaders Ledbury Swifts Athletic won 3-1 at Golden Valley in the Herefordshire Junior League Stirling Division.

Harry Williams put Athletic ahead with a six-yard header and, although Valley levelled quickly, Harrison Oakshott-Francis put them back in front.

The visitors defended superbly and scored a crucial third goal early in the second-half through Tom Skittery from 20 yards.
