A TRIO of Malvern kickboxers were successful at the Rising Stars Amateur Kickboxing Championships in Reading.
Sport Dyson Perrins student Oban Elliott (13) was first in the ring and went for an explosive start and then kept the pace for both rounds to secure the gold medal.
Team-mate Tom Everard (12), of Sport Martley, defended the title he won earlier this year but this time he was against a tougher opponent.
Elliott dominated both rounds with several reverse-kick combination throws. His show was so impressive he was called back in the ring later to compete again against a newcomer and again took gold.
The final fight of the night saw Lloyd Elliott (15), a fellow Sport Dyson Perrins student, defend his title against a seasoned Thai fighter stepping in to the kickboxing circuit.
Lloyd out-classed his opponent with devastating counter-punching and explosive kickpunch combinations.
