A TARGET of two wins from their next three Aspire Midland Alliance games has been set by Malvern Town manager Chris Palmer.

The Langland Stadium side welcome Loughborough University tomorrow (ko 3pm) before Town play their rearranged derby clash at Westfields on Tuesday night (ko 7.45pm).

This is followed by a trip to rock-bottom side Cradley Town on February 27.

Palmer has challenged his side to pick up maximum points from the Loughborough and Cradley games but says picking up any points at mid-table Westfields will be a bonus after they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Biddulph Victoria. Palmer was sent off in the first-half for a professional foul after being forced to play due to centre-half Ashley Pardoe’s last-minute unavailability.

Malvern also notched up a 2-2 draw with Ledbury Town on Tuesday night in the Worcester Senior Infirmary Cup after where goalkeeper Lewis Skyers was sent off.

Defender Kyle Knott (unavailable) and midfielder Craig Carter (broken hand) both miss out tomorrow.

Skyers is also unavailable after joining up with the England blind national team.

Defender Craig Williams is also a doubt due to illness but centre-half Ryan Clarke may be fit after suffering an ankle injury.

Full-back Dale Williams has also rejoined the club after playing for Malvern last season.

Palmer said: “The most important thing is getting three points tomorrow, it’s a winnable game.

“Three points at Cradley would also help us out.

“I had to go (be sent off). My brain wanted to catch the player but my legs couldn’t.”
