MALVERN Buzzards have been flying at various events.
Sarah Armstrong was third in her women's over 50 age category at the Great North Run in one hour 36 minutes 12 seconds.
Scott Mitchell tackled the Berlin Marathon in 4.54.02.
About 35 Buzzards did the Worcester City Half Marathon and 10k.
Jack Abbotts was 25th overall in the half marathon in 1.22.46 for a personal best while Jack Young clocked 1.34.58, Paul White 1.35.58, Nick Pemberton 1.37.56, Ali Webb 1.38.25, Andrew Houghton 1.39.08, Sam Eden 1.39.42, Seb Bamford 1.40.01, Martin Reed-Darby 1.40.20, James Elliot-Williams 1.44.44, Wesley Ogden 1.48.02, Steve Jalim 1.49.14, Jon Parkes 1.50.39 and Keith Forde 2.01.09.
The 10k saw Paul Childs do 38.16, Samuel Burnage 39.41, Paul Dolphin 41.23, Dominique Kent 42.32 for first woman over 50, Glen Curran 42.47, Sarah Kellett 43.30, Jasper Treveleyan 43.59, Martin Hollingworth 48.31, Holly Rabone-Kent 48.32, Neil Griffith 49.24, Clive Maddock 50.24, Kate Dolphin 54.54, Alice Dyson 1.01.32, Jennie Bond 1.02.58, Lily Price 1.10.08, Clare Wood 1.10.08 and Lisa Hopkins 1.15.35.
Archie Foreman was 26th overall in 13.55 at the Worcester City 3km young athletes section for 11 to 16 year olds.
