CHADDESLEY Corbett upset Worcestershire League Division One leaders Stourport with a 122-run thrashing of their hosts.

Fourth-placed Chaddesley left with maximum points thanks to Mohammed Sajid (146) and Bilal Hassan (70) as they amassed 288-8 and restricted the table-toppers to 166-9.

Bewdley closed the gap to seven points in second as they posted 313-4 against Worcester Nomads to secure victory thanks to Robbie Combes (118) and Matthew Cowdery (76).

In-form Evesham are only a win off top spot after they beat Hagley comfortably thanks to 85 from Muhammad Saqib and 4-35 from Mohammed Fahim Maan.

Worcester also remain within striking distance despite being beaten at Colwall by 44 runs.

Basement side Burghill, Tillington and Weobley grabbed their second win of the season as Ben Owens (80) led them to victory over Feckenham.

Mark Bennett (82) and Paul Thomas (73) inspired Cookley to victory at Pedmore after Taine Mitchell (98) guided Pedmore to 304 all out.

Long-time Division Four leaders Halesowen were defeated for the second week in a row and knocked off top spot.

They went down to Alveley who chased down the 240 victory target to win by two wickets.

Romsley and Hunnington went top as Steve Treadwell posted 64 and Luke Miley took 5-31 in a 41-run victory against Kidderminster.

Third-placed Astwood Bank beat Stourbridge by two wickets thanks largely to Dan Thomas' 5-23.

Claverley beat Stourport by six wickets through a half-century from Nadeem Ahmad.

Tenbury followed up a victory against Halesowen with success at Hallow Taverners by four wickets.
