LEDBURY'S Robert Wilson won the National Junior Rally Championships second round.
The John Masefield High School pupil, 15, was among 14 to 17 year olds driving 1.0-litre cars at a tough course at Lancashire's Weeton military base.
After dropping five seconds to his main rival in the first stage in his Citroen C1, Wilson recovered and pulled clear for an 11-second lead in the final two.
The next event will be at Brawdy airfield in Pembrokeshire, Wales, next month.
