MALVERN Joggers tackled the Gord’s 6 organised by Wye Valley Runners with all proceeds going to a local charity.
Previously the race took place near Swainshill but now has moved to a new location around the ancient fort of Caplor Hill near Fownhope.
Competitors experienced a testing, undulating multi-terrain course, the first three miles of which was along the banks of the River Severn on a cool but dry day.
First Jogger home for the club champions league race was Simon Richardson in 54 minutes two seconds.
He was followed by Steve Roode (1.00.55), Mike Bolton (1.01.51), Alison Priest (1.07.10), Julie Caseley (1.07.14 - 1st FV55), Pat Johnson (1.13.53), Mike Anstey (1.16.19), Lynda Broadway (1.18.30), Vivien Tolley (1.20.54) and Annie Robson (1.35.30).
