KEN Kinnersley has been appointed a new director of Hereford FC.
Kinnersley will now start the process of stepping away from his paid role as chief executive officer so he can undertake his position on the board at Edgar Street.
He will be appointed in accordance with the company’s Articles of Association, after having his name put forward by the holders of the majority of the issued ordinary shares of the company.
The club’s six serving directors unanimously approved the nomimnation and Kinnersley will assume his new role on January 1.
The next task is to appoint a new chairman, which will be made at a board meeting early in the new year.
