BARNARDS Green remain in the Birmingham & District League Division One promotion hunt after a comfortable 77-run home win over struggling Sutton Coldfleld.
Dorridge and Smethwick are joint top of the table on 156 points, with Green just 22 points behind in third spot.
A gritty 74 from Kyle Giniotis paved the way for fireworks from Jamie Tapper (61 not out) and Phil Harris (48) which boosted Green to 242-8.
In reply, former Warwickshire wicketkeeper Peter McKay hit 71 for Sutton but Worcestershire’s George Rhodes snapped up 4-28 and they fell away to 165 all out.
Bromsgrove slipped a seven-wicket defeat against high-flying Smethwick despite Worcestershire’s Alexei Kervezee hitting a run a ball 72 in their 154.
Brockhampton continued their rise up the table with a convincing seven-wicket win over Attock.
Callum Stewart took 4-12 and there were two wickets apiece for Josh Tongue, Senuran Muthusamy and Adam Hewlett as Attock crashed to 107 all out.
A breezy 47 from Henry Langford put the result beyond doubt as Brockhampton moved up to fourth in the table.
An unbeaten 19 from Worcestershire bowler Charlie Morris helped Bridgnorth to a seven- wicket home win against Himley.
Morris struggled with the ball, finishing with 0-54 from 11 overs as Himley posted 256-7 but batting at number five, he cracked three fours in his 15-ball knock.
Premier Division title chasers Ombersley had to settle for a losing draw in a rain-hit match against Walmley who posted 280-7.
Ombersley responded with 202-9 in an innings shortened to 41 overs following an interruption for rain.
Liam Gwynne hit 59 for Ombersley with support from Ted Bayliss (47).
Despite 36 from Worcestershire’s Tom Fell, pre-season title favourites Berkswell were emphatic seven-wicket winners over Wolverhampton in their top of the table clash.
Kidderminster were shot out for 89 by Shrewsbury in a nine-wicket battering.
