DARTS ace Terry Jenkins reached the fourth round of the Professional Darts Corporation’s Coral UK Open at Butlins Minehead.
The Ledbury ace, who was runner-up in 2014, suffered a 9-5 defeat against world number five Peter Wright, the eventual losing finalist.
Jenkins had reached the fourth round after a hard-fought 9-7 success against Ronny Huybrechts.
Michael van Gerwen retained the title after an imperious 11-4 win over Wright to claim the £60,000 title and secure his sixth PDC crown of 2016.
