HEREFORD FC embark on the second round of their FA Vase trail tomorrow when Haughmond visit Edgar Street (3pm).

The Shrewsbury side are enjoying a fine season so far at the level below Hereford and sit second in the West Midlands League Premier Division.

But the Bulls are taking some stopping in the Midland League Premier Division with 62 goals in 19 games and 46 points putting them five clear at the top of the table.

Goalkeeper Harvey Rivers said Hereford are just taking each game as it comes after claiming their 18th consecutive win with a 2-0 success at Bardon Hill last weekend.

Rivers has not conceded a league goal for 851 minutes and said: “I know it’s a cliche but you’re never bored of winning games.

“But it’s not just about me or the back four.

"We defend and attack as a team.”
