MALVERN Triathlon Club’s Leslie Dalley and Amanda Dawson represented Great Britain at the ITU World Cross Triathlon Championships in Orosei, Sardinia.
The race in the national park started with a 1,500-metre sea swim followed by a technical 30-kilometre mountain bike section and a 10km run over sand, pebbles and rocks.
Dalley finished 18th in the men’s 50 to 54 year category from a large field in two hours 59 minutes 23 seconds.
Dawson was 17th in the women’s 45 to 49 year section in 3.59.59.
Claire Crozier took part in the Ludlow Triathlon.
The event, slightly longer than sprint distance, comprised a 400m pool swim, 26km bike ride and 6.25km run.
Crozier raced well, particularly on the bike leg, and finished third female in a time of 1.34.0.
Ian Taylor was the sole Malvern triathlete at the popular Warwickshire Triathlon in Stratford.
The race consisted of a 400m pool swim, 23-mile bike ride and 5km run.
Taylor finished in 1.49.0.
Club member Jayne Ackroyd did the cycle leg of a three-person relay team at the Brownlee Triathlon at Harewood House, Leeds.
Ackroyd and her team Rich and Infamous were 19th out of 40 relay groups.
