MANOR Park’s junior team took the top trophy in the under 11s squash festival at Barnt Green Sports Club.
The Malvern youngsters played up to eight matches over the best of three, showing growing confidence and sportsmanship.
The team of Tom Davies, Arthur Davies and Jack Awuye-North, all 10 and new to playing in tournaments, embraced the challenge.
Tom Davies impressed with his determination and speed, Arthur Davies with accurate placing of the ball and Awuye-North with his serving.
All are members of Manor Park’s juniors in Albert Road North and meet on Sundays at 5.30pm and Thursdays at 4.30pm.
They are part of a growing section of young players aged up to 18.
