GLOUCESTER'S Ross Moriarty was on hand to assist with awards at Ledbury juniors' presentation.

With all years enjoying outstanding victories, the club had plenty of representation at county and North Midlands levels as well as players picked up by the junior academies at Worcester Warriors and Gloucester.

In review the U12s season has centred rugby played fair and a good brand of attacking rugby. The introduction of training at school for all boys has made a difference in the winter term and help all improve their game and technique.
There were some classic victories against Evesham away ('nilling' them), turning over Bromyard in North Mids pool game and also digging in well at Drybrook, despite the obligatory wet weather and mud and only having 10 men / no subs.
We had our best tour ever, with compliments from the opposition coaches and two tour games won, playing with freedom and camaraderie were a joy to watch.
The Pentrych game at the Lucs tournament was great performance in a group that all 4 teams in our pool contested the finals.

The early part of the 2014-15 season saw a number of new players joining the squad and after a few stuttering games where the players were working each other out, the team gelled and enjoyed a very successful season. In preceding seasons Longlevens had been a team the boys were unable to match, but on 7th December at home they played an outstanding game against them to win by 38-12. Beating Longlevens represented a real milestone for the team, subsequently going on a long winning streak, only punctuated by a loss to Bromsgrove by 12-19 in a tight game.
A number of the players featured heavily in the U14 Herefordshire County side competing in two county tournaments. Izaak Hamblin, Joey Brodholt, Corey Baggott, Ollie Newey, Lewis Ballinger and Max Buckland were invited to train with the Worcester Warriors Junior Academy during the season, with Lewis and Max each playing two competitive games for their U14s side. Lewis and Max have subsequently been selected for next season's U15 Junior Academy.
Played a total of 19 games, won 14, lost 5 (includes league, cup, tour, friendlies).
Won the Cirencester 7s tournament for the third year running, beating Cirencester 7-5 in the final.
Lost the North Midlands Plate final to a very strong Worcester side by 43-10.

After the lord mayors show season. Lost in the first rounds of NM Cup & Plate. However unbeaten since the turn of the year with good victories away at Hereford and Gloucester Spartans and on tour at Sevenoaks. The squad has also expanded through the season which promises much for next season.
