EASTNOR secured their first Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League Division Two win of the season.

They thrashed fellow strugglers Halesowen by eight wickets after skittling them for 105 and cruising home on 106-2 inside 20 overs.

Raheel Lone (4-23) and Atiq Ur Rehman (3-12) did the damage with the ball.

Andrew Fisher scored 36 in reply with Jack Myers (38 not out) and Ur Rehman (20no) guiding fourth-from-bottom Eastnor to victory.

n Worcester Nomads slipped to third in Worcestershire League Division One after an 86-run defeat at Hagley.

Ben Schiffmann took 4-56 for Nomads, including a hat-trick, in Hagley’s 231 all out but the Bransford side fell for 145 in reply.

After a good start, Colwall have stuttered and they lost by two wickets at home to Pershore.

Sam Crichard (36) starred for the villagers in their 205-9 and he then took 3-57, but the Vale side won off the final ball with 206-8.

Malvern crashed by nine wickets at Stourport in Division Two after slumping to 86 all out with Lewis Hill (14) top-scoring.

Hanley Castle and Upton suffered a fourth straight defeat in Division Four, going down to Martley by five wickets.

West Malvern continued their good start in Division Five with a four-wicket win over Stourbridge Thirds.
