THE Gloster Arms thrashed Northside 5-1 to close in on the McDonald’s Worcester and District League Sunday Division One crown.

The Malvern side tackle Premier Division title-chasers Hallow in the Baylis Cup final at Malvern Town’s HDanywhere Community Stadium on Sunday (6pm).

Callow End are still in contention for the Premier Division championship as Jon Mann (3), Rob Sinclair (2) and Nathan Owen fired them to a 6-2 win over Kempsey.

Sean Smith cracked a hat-trick for Malvern Radar, who completed their programme with a 6-1 victory over lowly Droitwich Spa Eagles.

Lewis Platt and Harry Wickett were among the other scorers. Radar top the table but are likely to be replaced by one of the other contenders who have games in hand.

Powick crashed 16-0 to Perrywood Reserves and Malvern’s The National Express were thumped 15-1 by WCT Youth Raiders in Division Two with Wayne Hanson scoring the consolation.

Luke Badham and Chris Wilson scored for Ale Madrid in a 4-2 home defeat to University of Worcester ‘B’, while James Croft netted in Malvern Rangers’ 3-1 loss at Virgin Athletic.

Jamie Caffull was on target as Malvern Mans slumped 12-1 to Freemasons Arms in Division Three.

Jack Parker and Laszlo Trungel were scorers when Colwall Village lost 3-2 to Whitehall.

Kyle Stimson swooped twice for Sport Dysons in their 4-2 win over Westside in Division Five with Matt Read and Kieran Smith also finding the net.
