MALVERN Joggers’ members took part in a range of events as the spring season continued to gather momentum.

Three runners travelled to Wales for the Kymin Dash, organised by Monmouth Running Club.

The challenging seven-mile course saw participants climb up the Kymin, above Monmouth, and descend back down into the Wye Valley.

Julie Caseley finished in 59 minutes 35 seconds, followed by Mike Anstey in one hour two minutes 57 seconds and Lynda Broadway in 1.06.48.

All three are taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday.

Two Joggers travelled to Herefordshire to take part in the Shobdon Woods Six, organised by Croft Ambrey Running Club.

The event was a mainly off-road course along parts of the Mortimer Forest trail.

Chris Smallman finished first in his age category in 40.01, followed by Paul Webb in 50.59.

Annie Robson continued her challenge of taking part in a 10-kilometre race every month in 2015 and was the only Jogger at the Angels 10k in Ashleworth, Gloucestershire.

The event was an undulating road course offering views back towards the Malvern Hills.

Robson finished in 1.09.13 for her best time so far this year.

In Manchester, two Joggers took on the full marathon, clocking impressive times which should ensure a place at next year’s London Marathon.

Ian Walwyn completed the 26.2 miles in 3.42 and Ewelina Skolimowska in 3.44.

Other Joggers at the London Marathon this weekend are Stuart Brown, Sam Burnage, Derek Goodman, Wendy Holmes, Neil Humpage, Megan Judge, Bert Lacey, Matthew Lancett, Kareen Mann, Julie Mitchell, Jon Newey, Steve Roode and Cathy Spence.
