MALVERN Town manager Les Jones says his team won’t let the upcoming Worcestershire FA Senior Urn final distract them from business in the West Midlands League Premier Division.

Town take on Midland League Division One leaders Highgate United in the silverware showdown at Evesham United’s Jubilee Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

But first they host Bilston Town Community at the HDanywhere Stadium tomorrow (3pm) in their continued quest to claim a top-six finish.

Sixth-placed Malvern have gone five games unbeaten in the league following last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Ellesmere Rangers.

Jones, whose side are also in the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup final, said: “The target we set ourselves was to get to a cup final and we have reached two, which is a bonus. Now we are in the finals, we want to win one.

“We also wanted to finish in the top six in the league so we need some points from tomorrow’s game to achieve the main target and that has to be our goal. We will deal with that first and then move on to Tuesday.”

Defender Aaron Richards is back after work commitments, but striker Dave Reynolds completes his three-match ban.
