THREE Malvern Joggers braved the icy conditions in rural Herefordshire for the Golden Gallop organised by Peak Performance Events.
The 10-kilometre route took the runners out from Peterchurch in Golden Valley towards the village of Dorstone and back along quiet country roads.
Paul Webb was the first jogger home in 49 minutes 38 seconds. He was followed by Annie Robson in one hour 10 minutes 17 seconds and Judy Dendy in 1.10.45.
Meanwhile, in more pleasant conditions, four members of the running club took to the streets of Barcelona for their half-marathon.
The course offered a fast, flat route taking in many of the Spanish city’s famous sights.
Joggers’ finishers were Peter Wilson (1.44.14), Julie Caseley (1.48.34), Julia Heron (2.05.50) and Geoffrey Heron (2.05.51).
