IN-FORM Malvern Town look to maintain their place in the West Midlands League Premier Division top six tomorrow when they host Black County Rangers (3pm).
Town have scored 12 goals in their last three games, winning 6-1 at Wellington Amateurs and drawing 1-1 at high-flying Shawbury United in the league.
Les Jones’ side also thrashed Littleton 5-1 in the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup semi-finals first leg at the HDanywhere Stadium on Tuesday with four goals from Dave Reynolds and one from Jack Cullity.
Rangers are one position and six points below sixth-placed Malvern but have eight games in hand. “In my opinion, on their day Black Country Rangers are the best team in the league,” Jones said.
“We are in good form so I am hopeful but in our league teams like that are capable of beating anyone.”
Joe Leighton is unavailable due to work commitments and fellow midfielder Phil Harris (ankle injury) is rated 60-40 to feature after missing three games.
Defender Jamie Thomas is back after a one-match suspension.
A date for the second leg against Littleton has not yet been set.
