FOOTBALL coaching for people with cerebral palsy is taking place in Malvern.
Sessions run at Malvern St James Sports and Fitness Centre, Barnards Green Road, at 10am every Sunday.
They are open to boys and girls, aged five to 16, with cerebral palsy or other physical disabilities.
Ten people attended the first session run by Cerebral Palsy Sport and supported by Worcestershire Football Association and Worcestershire FA Youth Council.
Coaches from Malvern’s Newtown Sports Juniors are running the weekly sessions.
British Paralympian Sascha Kindred, of Hereford, spoke to participants about his experience of playing sport with a disability.
Anyone interested can contact the county FA’s football development officer Ollie Williams at ollie.williams@worcestershirefa.com.
