Malvern and Kidderminster draw chess encounter
MALVERN drew a third consecutive match 2-2 in Worcester and District League Division One against a strong Kidderminster Knights side.
Geoffrey Herbert benefited from his opening preparation to defeat a strong junior.
Brian Turner drew, Ian Clarke lost and John Knee looked to be under pressure but clinched a draw.
At the half-way point, Malvern lead the Worcestershire Chess League and are joint second in the Worcester and District League.
