MALVERN’s Jacob Taylor-Ricketts secured gold in the West Midlands Artistic Regional Championships at Birmingham’s GMAC.
Taylor-Ricketts competed for Worcestershire Gymnastics Academy, with 18 members securing 13 medals.
The full six-piece competition featured floor, pommel mushroom, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar.
Laith Coathup, Lewis Beaver, Harry Ward, Luis Smith and Stan Murray also won golds.
There were silvers for Ben Harvey and Zak Myatt, along with bronzes for Alfie Taylor, Ethan Mathias, Ashton Price, Bruno Osman-Hopes and Callum Braathen.
James Kirk, Noah Spencer and Cotton Hennessey finished fourth, with Matti Morris fifth and Jacob Thomas sixth at his first competition.
