Former Leigh and Bransford Badgers goalkeeper Ross Grimshaw has extended his spell at Cheltenham Town.

As an eager seven-year-old, Grimshaw was snapped up by the Football League side and he has been a regular face in the Robins’ youth teams ever since.

He has re-signed with the Whaddon Road outfit on a two-year deal, further extending his time with them up to under 16s level.

Grimshaw’s father is the Badgers’ goalkeeping coach Neil.

Hereford and District Schools’ under 15s team return to action tomorrow at New Street, Ledbury (11.30am).

The county team will take on Blaenau Gwent in the third round of the ESFA Playstation competition after winning through 4-0 at Woking in the previous round.
