MALVERN Joggers’ seasoned long-distance runner Jayne Ackroyd completed her challenge of running in all six major marathon events across the world.

She took part in the New York event to finish the set and clocked an impressive time of three hours and 50 minutes.

The rearranged Droitwich half marathon took place after being postponed earlier in the year year due to flooding.

Joggers’ Claire Gilbert completed the course in 1.43.13 and Steve Roode clocked 1.54.21.

Roode had previously done his 100th park run and a cross-country five-kilometre race.

Another Joggers group travelled to Gloucestershire for the popular Guy Fawkes Five.

The five-mile route went around quiet country lanes near Ashchurch and was organised by Tewkesbury Athletic Club.

Joggers put in good performances and were led home by Ben Toon in 32.08, followed by Graham Cramp in 33.51.

Daniel Badger ran 33.54, Trevor Matty 34.59, David Green 35.25, John Bryan 37.14, Julie Caseley 39.53, Emma McCance 42.30, Glyn Davies 43.24, Annie Robson 54.47 and Emily Seyler 57.59.
