KIDDERMINSTER Harriers slipped to ninth in the Vanarama Conference Premier after tonight’s 1-0 defeat at Wrexham.

Elliott Durrell’s deflected shot six minutes from time denied Harriers in a game dominated by defences.

Home keeper Daniel Bachmann prevented Kidderminster striker Michael Gash from firing the visitors ahead before former Hednesford midfielder Durrell struck.

Wrexham moved up to third in the table with Harriers still only three points off the top five ahead of Saturday’s derby with Telford at Aggborough.

Meanwhile, Bilal Yafai scored for Hereford United in their 2-1 defeat at Chippenham Town in the Southern League Premier Division.

The midfielder equalised as all the goals arrived in the second-half but the hosts conjured a winner five minutes from time.

Evesham United contest an FA Cup third qualifying round spot with Histon tomorrow night in their replay at the Jubilee Stadium (7.45pm).

The sides drew 0-0 in Cambridgeshire on Saturday and the winners will host Chalfont St Peters on Saturday, October 11.
